Dear Moms,
Are there days when you want to quit? Just walk away? Just make it all go away? Are there days when you’ve absorbed as much as you can? Are there days when you have no more room to take on someone else’s problems? Are there days when you feel fat, I mean really fat? Like, how am I going to dig myself out of myself? Do you cry a quiet cry that starts without you noticing and doesn’t seem to stop? Not a sobbing cry, just a constant trickle? Are there days when you wish you weren’t a mom? Are there days when you wish you weren’t married because you don’t feel you can do the job as well as you should? Are there days when you feel you’ve let everyone down? Are there times when you think things should stop going wrong and something right should happen? Do you wipe your snot on your t-shirt instead of reaching for a tissue? Do you send off e-mails while crying that suggest that it’s a normal day and everything’s just peachy? Do you wince when she cries because you know the nap may be over already? Are you scared that if you stop being funny you’ll lose your audience? Do you hesitate to let people see how sad you feel right now because they’ll think everyday is like this for you and you don’t want to them to think you’re clinically depressed?
Do you tell anyone? Do you tell everyone?

How are you so freakin' spot on with your thoughts? Do you have my brain bugged?
this ain't easy, is it?
wow. yes, yes and yes. hang in there.
not a mom.... but can only imagine this just means you're only human. the only difference between you and many others... the rawness to be so honest with yourself.
thanks, b.
