my apologies for being MIA for a while. much has happened since the toilet post and none of it has included a successful trip to the bathroom. it has included changes at the restaurant, many special events that keep us busy, the very tragic death of a friend which lead to the realization that everything can be lost in a moment, and final preparations for our move. lest i sound like i'm complaining i want to note how thankful i am for:
1. the above picture of baby in her dad's alps-hiking hat
2. the fact that we are moving into a space where we can breathe
3. a tiny bit more time with each other
4. the best husband anyone could ask for
5. friends who offer to help when we say we're moving
6. reminders of how much we have to lose
7. pineapple (still can't get enough)
8. a beautiful and reassuring 18 week sonogram
9. warm weather
10. the hope of things to come
