ramble on...

as if making an effort to quell any paternal uncertainty, and probably for the same reason that babies from the day that they are born look like their fathers, baby has begun saying “dada” on a regular basis. babydaddy is thrilled. and i’m thrilled. just thrilled. she can also say “hi.” and she waves. what she can’t yet do is say “mommy.” a desperate google search quickly revealed that the dah sound is much easier for babies to say than the mah sound, which forces them to put their lips together and bl-. sorry, old movie flashback. sometimes i seriously cannot focus.

so mommy will have to wait i guess.

when say i “mommy” i mean the word; it’s not me talking in third person.

and in other news, i’ve managed to stick to yoga for over a month now, at least three days a week. i’m very proud. sadly, i have not lost a pound, but i now know how to breathe deeply, my arms don’t jiggle, and my butt’s looking better and that’s huge (hee, hee.) my plan is to keep at it in order to look really hot while simultaneously learning to accept my flaws. ah, the yogi’s paradox.
