to the moms who read my post and commented, thank you. some of you wrote here on the blog, some of you sent me e-mails, some of you sent me messages on facebook. thank you all. you are reading and moving on to write your stories down. you are telling me that you felt the same in many ways, some of you even years after you’ve felt the pain. you are reminding me when i feel like walking away that it is normal. you are helping me define what birth is and what it can be instead of what it should be. please know that your words of response are an inspiration to me. i am amazed at the support i feel even when many of you are so far away. it is a true testament to the power of mothers. today i felt loved, by you and your words. and for that i will always be grateful.
