yes, i just think it's ridiculous to call something"confession wednesday" but what the hell, right? it's my blog. besides, if no one is going to respond by telling me their dirty teeny secret, well then i'm gonna keep on rollin'. sooner or later i'll confess so many things that you'll really think i'm a nut job. that's enough from the peanut gallery.
so random list of confessions, beginning with the fact that i skipped last week. it was my birthday, so i took the day off from confessing. but the guilt is killing me so here it goes.
1. i walked over to un-safeway with my bullet-proof vest and quick reflexes and bought hamburger helper. that's right. hamburger helper. don't remember the eighties? check this. sometimes we just want a taste of home, even if it does go against everything we believe about how to eat. here's a newsflash-i'm not perfect. it was delicious.
2. some of you may recall the list i made of things I didn't want to do or be once i started (sort of) staying at home. well you can go ahead and cross #1 and #2 off the list. i have happily and thankfully attended many a "playdate" and i cannot for the life of me come up with a term to susbstitute for it without another mother looking at me like i'm an idiot and saying, "don't you me playdate?" sigh.
also, i have really been avoiding the pj in public confession by justifying it like so: IF i am wearing, say, yoga pants and a t-shirt (purely hypothetical here) while out with the kids one day and then i wear those same yoga pants and t-shirt to bed another day, it's not really the same as a PDP (public display of pyjamas) is it?
3. finally, the hardest thing to admit. i'm putting it down here so that if anyone gets bored from reading the other things, they'll quit before they get to this point. and i'd appreciate it if you read it in a whisper. i'm ready for a baby. another child. a. fourth. child. hey, i didn't birth big brother and big sister so that doesn't count, right?
right?
oh, sorry i couldn't hear you. you were whispering.
trouble is, things are rough right now. financially. emotionally. restaurantly. family-ly. but then it took so long for baby to happen that maybe by the time it happens, if it happens again, things will be better. but i'm not scared. there are things i would do better, do differently. i come from a brood. i, we, want a brood. a gaggle. a brady-like bunch. and plus, how can i help it when i see things like this?
i know. i'm a nut job.

ok, you've guilted me in to my confession: I want you and your sister to have lots more babies! Ok, so me being ready for you to have another baby has a MUCH BIGGER effect on YOU than it does me, but hey - more for me to love and spoil! I love you! Cool Aunt E
1. I really don't think you broke rule #2 - I have worn the same sweat pants and t-shirt in public that I have also worn to bed - separate occasions of course.
2. I think that if you want to have another baby you should. You will never regret it if you have another perfect little person like baby. 20 years from now you won't be able to imagine your life without him/her. Yes, things might be hard now, but there is no guarantee they will easier a few years from now. If your heart and soul tell you you're ready, then you are.
Selfishly, I want another baby to dote on!!
