well it took 22 months for me to allow myself to be away from her. my parents took her to cape may two days before we showed up. i cried the night before. i cried the morning we dropped her off. i cried as they drove away, afraid she'd be cramped in the backseat of their bug for the five hour drive, wondering why we had deserted her.
